The Basics

I redesigned Oral-B’s toothbrush packaging for my submission to the nationwide Southern Cross Packaging Design Competition in 2013.

The Brief

Design a new packaging solution for an existing P&G product that delivers visual identity, exceptional in-store shelf presence and a user-friendly experience. Ideal solutions will address key sustainability issues.

The Outcome

My design won Silver at the Southern Cross Packaging Design Awards in 2013. The competition judges remarked that it was “simple, attractive and marketable… a great solution”.

Oral-B Toothbrush Packaging Redesign
Simple, attractive and marketable. This redesign focused on improving three components of the Oral B toothbrush package: sustainability, the user experience especially accessibility and communication requirements, and shelf presence. Whilst keeping these areas as the focus, Angela has managed to keep the branding element strong. A great solution.”
